What is the Nielsen Backmount System?
The Nielsen Backmount System is a two-component hanging solution comprised of aluminum moulding that adheres directly to the back of the art image and a metal cleat that mounts to the wall.
The Mouldings
Two available profiles accommodate small to medium and large to extra-large prints, and feature a raw aluminum finish that blends into the background while allowing the art to float ¾” off the wall. Purpose-designed for modern media, the mouldings feature extra-wide faces, providing ample surface area for adhesive and ensuring a strong stable bond to rigid substrates. The mouldings are also suitable for use with the Nielsen security hanging hardware, ideal for institutional and contract projects.

The Cleat
Exclusively designed with a right-angle “Z”, the Nielsen cleat sits flush in the moulding channel for stable and secure hanging. Featuring pre-drilled holes for flat-top screws, the Nielsen cleat is easy to install and provides a secure and level presentation.
