Crescent Brands Announces John Lanman as Chief Executive Officer
Wheeling, IL — February 10, 2026 — Crescent Brands is pleased to announce the appointment of John Lanman as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
Lanman joins Crescent Brands as an accomplished leader with more than four decades of executive experience in consumer products, giftware and home décor industries. He has a proven track record of driving profitable growth, expanding market presence, and delivering strategic transformation of both established and emerging brands.
Before his appointment at Crescent Brands, Lanman served as CEO of Sullivans Home Decor, where he led the company through strategic initiatives to integrate previous acquisitions and improve performance. He also held executive leadership roles, including CEO of Precious Moments, Block & Company, and senior management roles at Oriental Trading Company and The Bradford Group’s wholesale gift division, where he was responsible for operations, sales, and marketing leadership.
Lanman’s appointment follows the untimely passing of Crescent Brands’ longtime CEO Scott Ozmun, whose legacy of innovation and community impact continues to shape the company’s culture and strategic direction.
